Exalted Ruler's Message

  The Children's Halloween Party is coming up.  We are still looking for some help with this event.  It has been a great event in the past and I'm sure it will be again this year. Please consider helping to make this event successful! We are also having an adult Halloween party so look for details in this newsletter.

  I am looking for someone to fill a trustee position.  Please contact me if you are interested.

  Congratulations to PER Mike Havey.  He has been elected to the position of Leading Knight. I would encourage those who can to attend meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

Fundraiser for Sebasticook Valley Elks Charities

Here is your chance to win one of two prizes with all proceeds going toward lodge charities. The first ticket drawn has their choice of prize:

Everything included except bear tag.  Season is the last two weeks of May and first three weeks of June.

The “Owie” box is located in the clubroom

  After a child has received a treatment at the Maine Children's Cancer Center, they have a chance to stop by the OWIE box and select a toy to take home or back to their room with them.  You can help by bringing in a toy for a child ranging in age from 6 months - 18 years.  We can only accept items that are still in their original packages.  Please no stuffed animals due to the fact they carry germs.  Some items that we can accept are: games, CDs, MP3 players, matchbox cars, puzzles, books or coloring books with crayons.

Maine Children's Cancer Program

  Please bring in your used cell phones, printer, fax, and/or copier ink cartridges to the lodge. A national distributor will make a donation to MCCP for every cartridge or cell phone that we turn in.
